The content of the app is really great and all aspects of its usability are superbly solved. What I appreciate especially is that you can stream each article in a well read audio content version
Not sure whats wrong with the previous posters phone but Ive used many, many news apps and this is the best so far.
The apps splash screen takes forever to disappear and multi-tasking no longer works and I also experience periodic crashes. Aside from these unfortunate bugs I truly love this app and use it daily. However, until these bugs are fixed I will be forced to restore to a prior "unbuggy" version of this app.
Its a great app and entirely free. Has not ever crashed for me. Those usually are not problems of the app anyhow, but of the system that crashes ( notice how the crash complaints show up for about any app ). Anyhow, i like it. :)
Too often articles are "impossible to download". Also when signal is low appears as if the subscription has expired. Would like to see the article pictures more consistent.
The audio version is a great feature, almost impeccable if not funny when adventuring into foreign pronunciation.
Very easy to find information ! Probably the best on line newspaper I have ever read .
Some bad moments
Terrible app! You have to pay to read the news! I do not recommend it! There are several others app where you can read the news without pay!!!
Non avrei mai potuto immaginare che un giornale del livello di "Corriere" potesse indurre i lettori in errore nel download di un app che dopo un mese che richiede di effettuare un abbonamento (a pagamento) oppure non sarà più in grado di leggere le notizie. Cancellerò questo app del mio iPod e lo sostituirò per un altro quotidiano italiano. Ci sono altri chi lasciano i lettori leggere le notizie
I could never have imagined that a newspaper of the size of "Corriere" could mislead readers into downloading an app that after one month demands that a (paid) subscription is made, or else the reader would no longer be able to read the news. I am deleting the app from my iPod and will replace it with another Italian newspaper. There are others that allow the readers to read the news.
It gets always stuck and have to reboot my phone each time to read the news... Irritating!
At first Id like to say that im Corriere della sera reader and sipporter but recently i tried Repubblica application for iphone and i have to say it works much better then corrieres one. At first Repubblica one is free of charge, but money are not the main problem. Corriere application is very slow and confused. Its not so much different from the website version in terms of usability and speed. I hope they will improve this application in the future otherwise using any RSS reader its still the best option to access Corriere news. Dont waste your money!!!!!
Why do they think that the app is so good that we are going to pay a monthly fee after a 2 week trial? I just open the site in safari on the iphone and then bookmark the mobile version. Not as good but better than paying a monthly fee. Le Repubblica is the same way. I love using it understand whats going in Italy and to work on my Italian.
Now we have to pay to read the articles?! This is ridiculous! Useless app.
